My favorite thing in the world is helping people. Band directing is a tough job. Are you new to the profession and find it a bit overwhelming? I can assist in several ways:

-Career consultant. Everything from library management, recruiting, union issues, booster interaction, advocacy, getting along with admin, work/life balance… All the things they didn’t teach you in college! I’m your guy. $50.00/hour. You can frequently get this paid for as professional development. Let’s talk!

-Conducting lessons. I have a wealth of knowledge and am a very expressive conductor. Let me help you get your face, hands, and body doing what you want them to do! $50.00/hour. We can totally do this in person or over zoom.

-Band clinic. Have me come out and work with your band/s! I am particularly good at MSBOA festival prep. I am positive and energetic but I get results! We’ll have a great time AND I’ll help you get ready to face the judges! $50.00/hour with full day discount rates.

I am great with kids and creatives (been working with them my whole life!) . I can help you or your child maximize productivity and still have time for leisure. I am particularly good at helping people with ADD/ADHD get their life in order, as I have been living with ADHD my entire existence. THERE IS A WAY! My rate is $30/hour with discounts available for monthly subscribers. GET ME WHILE I’M CHEAP!

I currently give private lessons on the following instruments:

Saxophone- All levels (My primary instrument)

Percussion-All levels

Flute- Beginner through 9th grade

Clarinet-Beginner through ninth grade

Trumpet-Beginner through ninth grade

Trombone-Beginner through ninth grade

I currently teach privately out my home in Brighton, MI. My rates are $50 per hour, $30 per half. I also have extensive experience teaching online and can do Zoom lessons as well.
